Vulnerable post ahead

Since our studio is committed to serving at the highest level, it’s tough when a client feels disappointed. In the rare times that happens, I have to remind myself that I’m not chocolate—so not everyone is going to love me. But when we go through our normal process of prepping a client for their session, and they still end up feeling anything other than excited, it makes me sad and disappointed.  

The first thing I do is reflect—what went wrong? What can we tweak to make sure this doesn’t happen again? There’s always something to learn and improve. Then, I pull up our reviews page and read the kind words from past clients. That warms my heart and reminds me that, yes, we are making people happy with beautiful images.  

So, to all my wonderful clients who take the time to leave a review—you are doing more than just sharing your experience. You are reminding us that what we do matters. And for that, I am forever grateful.
