Central Florida Classic Combines Golf, Music, and Community Impact

Blessings in a Backpack Central Florida will host the Central Florida Classic, a two-day community event featuring golf and live music to benefit children facing food insecurity across Central Florida. The event will take place at The Club at Venetian Bay and brings together business leaders, golfers, and community supporters in support of local students.

The Central Florida Classic includes two days of golf and a concert. Golf events kick off with a Team Scramble on April 16, followed by the Duke of Edinburgh Cup U.S. Qualifier on April 17 for golfers with an official USGA handicap index. The top two finishers of the qualifier will earn invitations to compete in the Duke of Edinburgh Cup World Finals in England in fall 2026.

In addition to golf, the event will feature a live outdoor concert by Jenene Caramielo, the nation’s #1 Celine Dion tribute artist, performing her acclaimed show “Celebrating Celine.” The concert is open to the public, and attendees do not need to participate in the golf events to attend.

Proceeds from the Central Florida Classic support Blessings in a Backpack’s mission to provide weekend meals for children who might otherwise go hungry when school is not in session.
