A seed-to-table experience for the whole family! Family Night at Edible Ed brings families closer together by celebrating food as a communal bonding activity. EEE is an inspirational and empowering setting for young people to be exposed to new foods, and with parents by their side, this is a fantastic opportunity to evolve the way the whole family approaches dining together. 

This Family Night, explore the stories behind Middle Eastern cuisine while working together with your kids to feed the whole family a beautiful, plant based dinner. With engaging instruction from a local physician and a culinary educator, participants will walk away with a greater understanding and appreciation of food and the flavors that have been passed down by generations. Harvest, cook, and dine together in an immersive family lesson on the ways we nurture our loved ones through the food we share.

Families will explore the art of Middle Eastern cooking, making several delicious dishes and join around the table for a final communal meal, celebrating the food prepared.

Meet our Culinary Educator: Dr. Hanna is a local pediatrician with Advent Health who is passionate about improving the nutritional health of families. As a pediatrician, he counsels parents and children on how to have a more well rounded diet, with a special focus on children who are picky eaters or have sensory processing disorders such as in Autism. He trained in culinary medicine in New Orleans and is passionate about making healthy food that is both colorful and flavorful. He hopes by the end of the class, you will have learned essential cooking techniques, family focused meals, and how to save time and money while cooking healthy.

**Note, this is a fully vegetarian friendly class with the use of dairy and gluten products.
