DSACF's 24th Annual Step Up For Down Syndrome Buddy Walk
The annual Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk is a day of celebration! Activities include a dance party, carnival games and events, bounce houses, characters and more. During the event, there is a one-mile walk to raise awareness in the heart of Downtown Orlando.
We invite you to support our mission to serve individuals with Down syndrome and their families. These individuals are counting on givers like you to contribute, so the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida can provide programs and services like: Support for new families; Education; Medical outreach and scholarships; Annual statewide conference for family members, medical professionals, and educators; and 2 Free medical clinics serving people with Down syndrome, social clubs and pre-employment services.
The Step Up Walk has guest appearances by elected officials, VIPs and the Grand Marshal, and welcomes all ages, ethnicities and abilities for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and supporters. The walk is DSACF's largest fundraiser of the year, raising over 30% of the annual budget to support programming, educational resources, medical outreach and scholarships.
