About Us

The University Club of Winter Park was established in 1934 by a group of Central Florida residents seeking a forum for the exchange of information and ideas, as well as a variety of life experiences.
The UCWP is a unique organization. We have numerous activities (more than 1000 per year) in a wide variety of fields (presently 35), with emphasis on intellectual pursuits (21 of the 35). Most of our activities are interactive and participative, and are generated, organized, and delivered by Club members.
PHILANTHROPY. Scholarships are given to local institutions of higher learning to aid worthy students, financial contributions are given to various community charitable organizations. Art exhibits at the UCWP promote local artists, and the concerts promote local performers.
CLUB RENTAL. The Club’s facilities are available for rent to both members and nonmembers, for meetings, parties, and similar events. Nonprofit organizations and members (after their first year) receive discounts.
