About Us
One Heart for Women and Children is one of Central Florida's leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to ending hunger, building community, and empowering hope. Founded by Stephanie Bowman after overcoming homelessness with her two daughters, One Heart was created from the belief that no person should have to face life's challenges alone.
Today, One Heart serves more than 20,000 individuals every month through the largest food pantry in Orlando, mobile food distributions, community health and resource fairs, nutrition education, life skills programs, and partnerships with organizations across the region. Beyond providing food, we connect families with healthcare, housing assistance, financial education, employment resources, and other essential services that help create lasting stability.
Our mission extends beyond meeting immediate needs—we believe in restoring dignity, strengthening families, and building a community where every person has the opportunity to thrive. Through the generosity of volunteers, donors, corporate partners, and community organizations, thousands of lives are impacted each year by neighbors helping neighbors.
Whether you're looking to volunteer, partner with us, sponsor an event, or support our mission, we invite you to become part of the One Heart family. Together, we can create a stronger, healthier, and more compassionate Central Florida—one heart at a time.
