Job description:
We are seeking an experienced tax accountant to join our team and grow with us at our convenient Winter Park office.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Perform tax preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Identify, research, and resolve client tax and accounting issues
- Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquires
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, clients, and tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Possess a working knowledge of firm technology, firm software, firm policies, and procedures, and working in a paperless environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, UltraTax and other Thomson Reuters products and QuickBooks a plus
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Maintain ongoing professional development and CPE requirements
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
- Maintain strict client confidentiality
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Florida CPA or candidate
- Strong proficiency in Federal and State taxes
- Minimum two years of experience in public accounting
