J.S. Bach's Mass in b minor
The most notable work by the most influential composer in western music, the Mass in b minor is a summation of J.S. Bach’s life’s work. As the first group in the south to perform the mass in 1940, and in our 85th season, the Bach Festival Society recognizes its place as inheritors of the tradition of performing and listening to the mass.
