WATER BY THE SPOONFUL
Written by Quiara Alegría Hudes
Directed by Nick Bazo ‘02
Water by the Spoonful is a 2012 Pulitzer Prize winner about a community of people sustaining one another through real life connection and through spaces they’ve built online.
In an age of uncertainty and chaos, can anger become forgiveness? Can resistance become redemption? The provocative and uplifting Spoonful is about the families we create in a world where everybody lives day to day – or spoonful by spoonful, to echo Hudes’ poignant metaphor.
Please note, Water by the Spoonful contains themes of addiction, PTSD after combat, child loss, and mature language.
