We've assembled a prominent panel of experts who will discuss how the local housing market crisis affects us all and offer critical thinking on how to alleviate some of the burden.\n\n\n\nWe introduced our Winter Park Prosperity Scorecard\, sponsored by Rollins College\, last fall at Outlook 2021\, and this year we?re exploring one of the metrics creating the biggest impact for Winter Park employers\, first-time homebuyers\, renters\, builders\, realtors\, residents and commuters. A shortage of attainable housing leads to barriers for businesses to hire enough employees\, suppresses entrepreneurship and economic prosperity\, limits the number of young families and residents throughout our neighborhoods\, increases emissions as more people are forced to commute longer distances\, and creates other challenges.
