DESCRIPTION:Opera Orlando presents its annual Summer Concert Series at the University Club of Winter Park on August 14\, 21\, and 28. All concerts are presented at 2 p.m. and include light hors d'oeuvres and wine. The series kicks off with Metropolitan Opera soprano Emily Pulley and a special season preview presentation by Opera Orlando's general director and Grammy Award winning baritone Gabriel Preisser. Ms. Pulley was most recently seen in the World Premiere of The Secret River. Next up\, is soprano Kyaunnee Richardson who has been featured in several Opera Orlando productions including Die Fledermaus\, Hansel & Gretel\, Carmen\, and The Secret River. The series will end with soprano Susan Hellman Spatafora with special guest bass Andrew Potter and Robin Stamper on piano. Both have been seen in past Opera Orlando productions and Ms. Spatafora will perform in The Magic Flute as First Lady this fall at Steinmetz Hall.
