Denning Drive Winter Park\, FL\n\nCost: Free \n\n\n\nJoin us for refreshments and conversation Angela TenBroeck\, a fourth generation farmer and international agricultural executive\, works to bridge the gap in sustainable economic opportunity for small agricultural producers with a systemic approach to economic growth and increased efficiency getting produce from the farm to the consumer. She will be sharing her many projects and technological innovations at the Mead Botanical Gardens Life Explorers Series on February 8. An early crusader for hydroponic agriculture\, she is highly skilled in non-profit organizations\, aquaculture and agriculture facility design\, agricultural technology\, and instructional design focusing on improving agricultural output and delivery. She works on projects all over the world and is committed to changing the hunger landscape by assisting farmers and fighting food insecurity in underserved communities through team building and innovative technologies. From an early start as a middle and high school teacher\, TenBroeck went on to become an experienced business development professional who graduated from the University of North Florida\, Cornell University's SC Johnson School of Business Produce Executive program\, and Rollins College Crummer School of Business. She is a social entrepreneur RALLY SEA fellow and was the 2021 Florida Woman of the Year in Agriculture. The presentation is free of charge and coffee and light refreshments are served. There is a Q & A time following the presentation and Kirsch will be on hand to sign copies of this special book. The Life Explorers Speakers Series is held in the Azalea Lodge of Mead Botanical Garden from 10-11:30 a.m. The program is free of charge with light refreshments and coffee served.
