DESCRIPTION:Good Morning Winter Park is Winter Park's live\, interactive morning magazine featuring local topics ranging from politics to exploring entries in the marketplace in and around Winter Park\, Florida. \n\n\n\nFlorida Hospital will be doing a Heart Healthy olive oil tasting in collaboration with the Ancient Olive in honor of Heart Month!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFeatured Speaker: Tammy Elliott \n\nVP\, Director of Career Development\, Full Sail University\n\n \n\nMs. Elliott is the Vice President of Career Development. She joined Full Sail University in 1991 and since then has been devoted to Full Sail University's graduates and their career pursuits. Throughout her career\, Ms. Elliott has developed a model of service that is rooted in earnest relationship building with both students and employers.  \n\n \n\nPrior to Full Sail\, Tammy worked in advertising as a media buyer in western North Carolina\, and freelanced as voice-over talent for radio and television. She is a singer/songwriter and enjoyed many years performing and recording music. During her tenure at Full Sail\, Tammy has witnessed and played a part in multiple roles in the Career Development department\, from reception to advisor\, from industry outreach to team manager.  \n\n \n\nIn her current role\, she leads the the Career Development team as they host hundreds of industry employers and recruiters to campus\, supports and manages multiple local and remote hiring events\, and processes thousands of requests for qualified talent from Full Sail University each year. Additionally and in conjunction with the Education department\, she supervises the creation and implementation of educational curriculum entitled Career Modules. These structured learning activities and interactive publications provide students with numerous opportunities to develop their professional selves and prepare for entry into the job market. \n\n \n\nMs. Elliott actively presents to various internal and external groups during open house events\, new employee orientations\, faculty and admissions training sessions\, Staff and Cultural Development workshops and industry presentations\, all in an effort to ensure that the mission of Career Development remains relevant and engaged.
